Less bureaucracy in your real estate organization opens the door to more productivity. Create an environment of open communication and feedback. Remember that rule-making isn’t as productive as working from goals, action plans, and standards. The top-down model at times doesn’t provide the transparency required to realize results in a meaningful way as many can feel frustration, fear, anxiety, unrest, and even resistance. Keep it flat, and everyone will be able to see horizon, not just the people at the top.
